Many products bear labels such as Made in Italy or Made in Germany without complying with European regulations, hiding real origins like China, India, or Vietnam. Giasco adopts a transparent approach, complying with regulations and correctly declaring the origin of its products. We invite distributors and retailers to always verify the exact origin of footwear to avoid legal liabilities.
Regulatory clarity. The opinion of the Customs Agency
In 2024, Giasco obtained an official opinion from the Customs Agency, confirming that the customs origin of footwear is determined in the country where the upper with insole is produced, regardless of the Italian origin of the materials. Giasco continues to strictly comply with regulations, promoting a more transparent and fair market.
