Specifically, these tunnels that run perpendicular along the shoe guarantee a unique cushioning effect when the foot is resting on the surface and a consequent high rebound when the foot is released forward. This characteristic is guaranteed for the entire useful life of the shoe thanks to the high "memory" property of the polyurethane material that makes up the sole and especially thanks to a trapezoidal geometry of the hole designed to minimize deformation.
